Broward Sheriff’s Deputy Charged with Aggravated Battery of Pregnant Woman in North Lauderdale

A Broward Sheriff’s Office deputy, identified as Randall Saintilus, has found himself on the wrong side of the law following his arrest on charges of aggravated battery of a pregnant woman and criminal mischief. The incident occurred during a domestic dispute in North Lauderdale, where it was alleged that Saintilus precipitated a verbal and physical confrontation due to accusations of his infidelity, as per Local10.

The situation escalated to Saintilus allegedly causing the woman to tumble down a staircase, resulting in injuries to her back. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated incident, with detectives uncovering previous acts of domestic violence and the destruction of the victim’s phone, according to details furnished by the Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO). Saintilus, who had been with the department since 2018, was subsequently taken into custody and awaits due process while on unpaid administrative leave.

Further damning the accused deputy’s reputation, authorities at BSO are delving into past allegations, suggesting a pattern of abusive behavior on Saintilus’ part, including witness accounts that could corroborate the cycle of violence he is alleged to have perpetrated. In light of the serious allegations levelled against one of its own, the BSO, led by Sheriff Dr. Gregory Tony, issued a stern message denouncing domestic violence, “There is zero tolerance for domestic violence, and victims need to know that no one has the right to harm them,” he remarked in a statement made available by NBC Miami…
