Supermarket sweep: Florida woman allegedly stole $8K in meat, seafood from Publix store

A woman from Hialeah is accused of stealing more than $8,300 in meat and seafood from the Publix store in Islamorada earlier this year.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said in an announcement that 35-year-old Yirelys Dominguez was arrested Nov. 5 in connection to the food heist.

MCSO said Dominguez’’s arrest is “part of a larger investigation into the use of stolen credit cards to pay for tens of thousands of dollars of meat and seafood from the grocery store on multiple occasions.”…
