A 92-year-old Delray Beach woman died Nov. 7 when she crashed her car into a tree in Wellington, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said.
Investigators identified the woman as Ann Roy. They said the crash occurred shortly after 2:30 a.m. on the 4000 block of South State Road 7, near Lake Worth Road.
The report said Roy was traveling north in a 2013 Mercedes-Benz sedan when she struck the center median, mounted the curb and hit a tree. The vehicle rotated westbound and came to a stop with its rear wheels in the southbound lanes…
