Grace of God Restaurant, located at 360 South State Road 7, was ordered shut on November 4 after state health inspectors found multiple violations, including live and dead roaches, sewage backing up through floor drains, and an inaccessible handwashing sink.
According to the inspection report, nine violations were discovered during the visit. Inspectors documented in the report live roach activity, including that found crawling on employee medicine and personal cups on a dry storage rack, inside a non-working two-door cooler, and on a bag of rice in the kitchen’s dry storage area.
