Video shows man hit woman with SUV in Aventura after she wouldn’t let him sniff her feet, cops say

AVENTURA, Fla. — Newly released video shows the moments a hotel meet-up to purchase used shoes took a violent turn after authorities said a spurned would-be foot-sniffer struck a woman with his car.

It happened in September at the Serena Hotel, located at 2820 NE 214th St. in Aventura, after the victim agreed to meet the suspect, 28-year-old Elmoncy Sercle, to sell him her used shoes.

According to police, Sercle, of southwest Miami-Dade, asked to smell the woman’s feet and when she declined, he fled the hotel room with what she thought were her belongings…
