A Coral Springs man was arrested after detectives say he attacked and attempted to rape a woman walking home while threatening that he had a gun.
A Coral Springs Police Department report indicates Jamarion Joseph Walden, 22, was taken into custody on November 9 and booked on charges of attempted sexual battery with a deadly weapon and false imprisonment.
According to the victim, the attack occurred during the day near Northwest 115th Avenue and Northwest 39th Street.
