It’s been over three decades since the tragic death of beloved actor Thalmus Rasulala. Born as Jack Crowder on November 15, 1939, in Miami, Florida, Rasulala died on October 9, 1991, from a heart attack in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He had been diagnosed with leukemia. He was only 51.

Raised in Miami and later educated at the University of Redlands in California, Thalmus Rasulala commenced his career in the early 1960s, after serving in U. S. Air Force and working in public relations.
