MIAMI, FLORIDA — A 28-year-old Miami man, identified as Elmonce Sercle, is facing serious charges after prosecutors say he ran over a woman in a parking garage following a bizarre confrontation involving a $1,000 request to buy her used shoes and smell her feet. Investigators say the two met through a dating app, and the incident unfolded at the Serena Hotel in Aventura on August 24.

What Led to the Confrontation at the Hotel

According to investigators, Sercle arranged to meet the woman, who works as a foot model, after messaging her about smelling her feet and purchasing her used sneakers for $1,000.

However, once they met in person, Sercle refused to pay, leading to tension inside the hotel room.

When the woman briefly stepped into the bathroom, police say Sercle suddenly fled the room, prompting the victim to believe he had stolen her belongings. She chased after him into the hotel parking garage, where the situation quickly escalated.
