Coral Springs Police Sgt. Ebony Winn has died after a courageous six-year battle with cancer, police announced Saturday.
Winn joined the force in 2008 and spent her career “serving this community with dedication and integrity, always putting others first,” CSPD said in a Facebook post.
“Winn was more than a dedicated member of our department. She was a daughter, sister, friend, and a source of strength to everyone who knew her,” police said. “As we mourn her loss, we also take a moment to honor the life she lived and the legacy she leaves behind.”…
