Missing Pompano Beach Teen Alec Treto Found Safe, Broward Sheriff’s Office Confirms

The community’s concerns were brought to an end recently as the Broward Sheriff’s Office confirmed the safe return of Alec Treto, a 17-year-old boy who had been reported missing in Pompano Beach. Treto was last spotted near the 900 block of Northwest Third Terrace at approximately 2:30 p.m. this past Friday, according to a report by WSVN.

In the initial call for public assistance, Treto was described as standing 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing roughly 125 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a red hoodie, black shorts, and black shoes. The Broward Sheriff’s Office reached out through traditional and social platforms to quickly disseminate this information and effectively engage the public’s help.

Fortunately, the efforts to find the missing teenager were successful.
