Man accused of giving unlicensed injections, using unapproved Korean drug at Miami clinic

A man was arrested for allegedly offering unlicensed cosmetic injections with an unapproved product from South Korea at a Miami clinic, authorities said.

Yumyut Sali Mustafa, 39, was arrested Wednesday on charges of practicing the health care profession without a license, possession of prescription drugs with intent to sell or deliver, and misrepresenting a medical license, Miami-Dade jail records showed.

According to an arrest report, the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office Organized Crimes Bureau’s Medical Crimes Squad received information from the Florida Department of Health that Mustafa was administering cosmetic injections without a license.

Mustafa was the manager of an aesthetics business on Southwest 7th Street in Brickell, and a Department of Health undercover operative scheduled an appointment at the business with Mustafa, the report said…
