The City of Lauderhill has officially declared December 5 as Apostle Edison and Prophetess Mattie Nottage Day, honoring the couple’s decades of faith-based service, community leadership, and outreach. The proclamation was presented during Friday night’s “Prayer in the Park” event at Lauderhill Sports Park, where residents gathered for an evening of worship and reflection.
The recognition, celebrated by the couple’s followers online, was described as a historic moment.
