Arrest Made After Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash in Miami

Miami, Florida — Miami police have made an arrest in connection with a multi-vehicle crash that killed a 79-year-old man and left two others injured, authorities confirmed Saturday.

According to police, Jesus Andres Villalobos, 33, was arrested on charges of vehicular homicide in a reckless manner and driving without a license causing death or serious bodily injury. The crash occurred shortly after 4 a.m. Friday near Northwest Seventh Street and Northwest 30th Place.

Investigators say the incident began when a pickup truck sideswiped a Nissan Sentra, causing the driver of the Sentra to lose control and crash through a green metal gate.
