POMPANO BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A woman turned herself in following a 2023 deadly crash that killed one person after she was found to be going 90 to 102 mph in a 40 mph speed zone.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office says Jezaniah Gonzalez, 24, turned herself in on Dec. 15 at the BSO main jail. Deputies say she faces one count of vehicular homicide and one count of reckless driving with serious bodily injury.
On May 21, 2023, BSO and the Pompano Beach Fire Rescue responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of North Andrews Avenue and West Copans Road in Pompano Beach.
