Passenger airlifted to hospital after pest control truck crashes into tree in Fort Lauderdale

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — A woman who was a passenger in a pest control truck was airlifted to a hospital Friday morning after the driver crashed the truck into a tree in Fort Lauderdale.

The crash was reported at about 6:22 a.m. in the 6300 block of North Andrews Avenue.

According to Fort Lauderdale police Sgt. Patrick O’Brien, a woman who was a passenger in the Petri Pest Control truck had to be extricated by Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue and was then airlifted by BSO Air Rescue to North Broward Hospital…
