The investigation continues for two Florida attorneys after they disappeared in the Gulf during a fishing trip last month.
The search for Randall Spivey, 57, of Fort Myers and his nephew Brandon Billmaier, 33, of Boca Raton, began soon after they were reported missing about 9 p.m. Dec. 19. Their search came to a halt Dec. 22, about four days after they disappeared.
In an initial statement posted Dec. 22 to its Facebook page, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office stated the FBI would take over the investigation, but it later amended the statement to indicate they continue to work with their law enforcement partners…
