Broward County, Florida – On Monday, January 19, Broward County government offices will be closed for the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day holiday. In-person services will be closed for the day, but residents can still use plenty of resources on the county’s website. This means that important information and digital services will still be available throughout the holiday.
Many services that are open to the public will not be running on their usual timetables. The 311 Call Center will be closed for the holiday. The Homeless Helpline will also be closed, but there will be some help available after hours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. People who need help during that time can call 954-563-4357.
The Nova Southeastern University Alvin Sherman Library and all other county libraries will be closed. Despite the closures, those who use them will still be able to search the online catalog, renew or place holds on items, and access a lot of digital content. These are eBooks, eMagazines, free online lessons, and movies, TV shows, and music that you may stream or download…
