FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — Deputies arrested a Pompano Beach man on Saturday in connection with the murder of a man in Fort Pierce, after what began as a report of a suspicious person.
St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office deputies were first called to the area of South Rock Road behind a Pilot Truck Stop late Thursday night after a witness called 911 to report a suspicious person, according to previous reports.
“This is really just a residential road. It’s really strange for a truck to come down this road at all,” Lauren Carter told CBS12 News on Thursday. “Being so close to something that scary was a little concerning.”…
