West Palm Beach, FLA. (WPEC) — South Florida is starting the week on a cool and breezy note after a chilly morning, with dry conditions holding firm through Tuesday. While temperatures remain below normal for January, a gradual warmup and a return of rain chances are expected later this week.
A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect for Okeechobee, Indian River, St. Lucie, Inland Martin and Inland Palm Beach Counties until 9 a.m.
Today and tomorrow will be dominated by dry weather as a large area of high pressure builds in from the north. High pressure is an area of sinking air that keeps skies mostly clear and rain chances low.
