Three suspects have been arrested in connection with multiple burglaries throughout Broward County involving tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of copper wiring and tools, authorities said.
Selvin Mathew, 49, Garrett Smith, 57, and Charles Webb, 39, were arrested Sunday on charges including burglary, grand theft, criminal mischief, and possession of burglary tools, jail records showed.
According to arrest reports, Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives had been conducting surveillance on the suspects, who are believed to be responsible for multiple burglaries involving the theft of copper wiring across several jurisdictions.
