Miami to Experience Dramatic Temperature Drop as Strong Cold Front Moves In

On Monday morning, Miami experienced mild conditions, with temperatures in the low 70s and a light breeze. Patches of fog that slightly reduced visibility were expected to clear after sunrise. NBC Miami reports that highs for the day are forecast to reach around 86 degrees, roughly 10 degrees above the seasonal average.

Later in the day, a strong cold front, part of the winter storm that affected much of the U.S. over the weekend, is expected to bring gusty winds of up to 20 mph. The National Weather Service forecasts that temperatures will drop into the upper 40s and lower 50s by Monday night.
