BOCA RATON, Fla. (CBS12) — A Texas man was arrested after Boca Raton police say he threatened to bomb an aromatherapy company’s store and kill one of its employees during a series of profanity laced phone calls captured on recorded customer service lines, according to a newly released probable cause affidavit.
The Boca Raton Police Department identified the suspect as Marvin Edward Wang, 53, of League City, Texas. Wang faces a felony of making a threat to discharge a destructive device.
According to police, the investigation began after a sales consultant at the Aroma 360 in Mizner Park contacted Wang on August 14, 2025, as part of a routine customer service outreach. The victim told officers that as soon as she identified herself, Wang became irate, complained about allegedly unauthorized charges regarding a subscription service, and abruptly escalated into a threat: “I’ll drive to a store and bomb it,” he said, according to the recorded call…
