Broward woman busted in $1.2M theft bought jewelry, rented mansions, flew private: BSO

A Broward County woman is facing charges after authorities said she stole more than $1.2 million from a Deerfield Beach business and spent the money on expensive jewelry, mansion rentals and a trip on a private jet.

Keshon Litesha Rivers, 32, was arrested Wednesday on charges of organized scheme to defraud, grand theft of more than $100,000 and money laundering, Broward Sheriff’s Office officials said.

Authorities said Rivers ripped off the owners of Event Décor Direct from May to August of 2025.
