Broward County Commissioner Hazelle Rogers Celebrates 30 Years of Service

LAUDERHILL – Broward Commissioner Hazelle Rogers will commemorate 30 years of distinguished service as an elected official. The commemoration includes a full-day community celebration tour across five cities within her district on Wednesday, March 12.

Commissioner Rogers made history as the first Jamaican elected official in Southeast United States. She paved the way for greater representation and leadership within the region’s diverse communities.

Over the past three decades, she has been a dedicated advocate for economic development, community empowerment, and cultural inclusion.
