Dania Beach Mystery Turns Tragic as Missing 29-Year-Old Found Dead off East Dania Beach Boulevard

What began as a missing-person search in Dania Beach on Wednesday ended in heartbreak that same evening, when a 29-year-old woman reported missing by her family was found dead near the 600 block of East Dania Beach Boulevard, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office. Detectives are investigating the circumstances of her death, and the agency’s Homicide Unit has been notified. Officials said there is currently no indication of foul play, and the Broward County Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.

Earlier in the day, detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit had issued an alert for 29-year-old Lisandra Loyola after family members reported her missing. She was last seen at about 6 a.m. Wednesday in the same area where she was later found. According to a Broward Sheriff’s Office release, Loyola is about 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs roughly 150 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes, and has flower tattoos on her right arm.
