A North Lauderdale woman was arrested for theft when employees caught her stealing $79 in items at Walmart.
A deputy responded to Walmart, located at 550 U.S. Hwy. 27, Clermont, for a theft incident involving 49-year-old Shandra Shantale Rogers around 6:10 p.m., Feb. 6, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
An asset protection employee advised that she did not scan many things at self-checkout but bagged them anyway. Video footage confirmed she did this with $79.41 worth of merchandise, the report said…
