FAU student faces three charges following DUI arrest

A student at Florida Atlantic University was arrested by the Florida Atlantic Police Department and charged with driving under the influence, refusing to submit to DUI testing, and reckless driving.

Jackson Detwiler, a sophomore from Rockledge, Florida, was operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and was pulled over on the corner of Volusia Street and University Drive at 11:55 p.m. on Jan. 15, according to arrest records…
