Alberto Carvalho, the former superintendent of Miami-Dade County Public Schools who went on to become superintendent for the Los Angeles school district, had his Los Angeles home and office raided by the FBI Wednesday.
The FBI also searched a residence in Southwest Ranches in Broward County Wednesday as part of the case, but did not give the address of the home, the FBI’s Miami Field Office confirmed to the Herald. Carvalho is connected to two addresses in Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood, but none in Southwest Ranches, according to the Broward County property appraiser website.
