A 35-year-old driver has been charged with vehicular homicide in connection with an accident that claimed the life of a 28-year-old Boca Raton man several months ago.
The accident occurred July 16, 2025 at 10520 Sandalfoot Boulevard in unincorporated Boca Raton. The driver, John A. Adams, of Deerfield Beach, was behind the wheel of a 2024 Chevrolet Trax traveling westbound when his vehicle “drifted in a southwesterly direction, over the center continuous left turn lane, and partially into the eastbound lane,” an accident report provided to Boca Daily News said. His vehicle ultimately veered into the path of a man riding an e-scooter.
