HOLLYWOOD, Fla. — Residents in Hollywood Beach are at odds with how the city wants to transform its community city along South Ocean Drive.
The city has an agreement with a developer to make upgrades to the center and the park nearby, but residents aren’t happy about what could come with it.
It’s all part of a public, private partnership that the city says would cost them nothing except for some of the land to build a condo tower more than 20 stories tall…
