South Florida’s rooftop scene just got an upgrade! Perched on the 17th floor of Pier Sixty-Six’s spire-crowned tower in Fort Lauderdale is Pier Top, the only revolving cocktail lounge in the region.
This icon in the sky was closed for several years amid a massive, billion-dollar property-wide renovation. It originally debuted in 1965, with the tower’s “66” theme paying homage to the Phillips 66 petroleum company that originally built the marina, becoming a famous spot for celebrations, romantic evenings and taking in the stunning skyline. The newly revamped space sports a sophisticated, retro-glamorous style and an elevated menu while maintaining its signature sights.
Pier Top offers diners a cinematic backdrop of the city and the turquoise waters of the Intracoastal Waterway and Port Everglades as it rotates a full 360 degrees, completing a full revolution every 66 minutes…
