Family of Coral Springs Resident Robert Levinson Calls for Justice as U.S. Targets Iranian Regime

As the United States intensifies military strikes against Iran and pressure grows on the country’s ruling regime, the family of longtime Coral Springs resident Robert Levinson is demanding that Iranian authorities finally answer for his disappearance and return his remains.

Levinson, a private investigator and former FBI agent, disappeared in March 2007 while visiting Iran’s Kish Island. U.S. officials later concluded he had been detained by Iranian authorities and held for years. In 2020, the U.S. government announced it believed Levinson had died in Iranian custody, though the exact circumstances of his death remain unknown, and his remains have never been returned to his family.
