A 21-year-old man is behind bars after detectives accused him of gunning down a well-known North Miami Beach barber while the victim was out rollerblading near his home last fall. The shooting happened on Oct. 1, 2024, and left 36-year-old Wilton “Frieza” Mena dead, surviving him are his wife and two young sons.
According to Local 10, North Miami Beach police arrested Ryan Sutton on Thursday. Miami-Dade corrections records show he was booked shortly before 2:05 a.m. Friday at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. Court documents list a charge of second-degree murder with a weapon.
Records also indicate Sutton had an outstanding warrant and was on probation at the time for two counts of sexual battery on a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a child, Local 10 reported…
