Early Sunday, March 15, a 58-year-old man was shot near his West Park home and later died at the hospital, and detectives are now urging neighbors and anyone with information to speak up. Broward Sheriff’s Office officials identified the victim as Timothy Motes, saying he was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital and pronounced dead there. According to the sheriff’s office, the shooter has not been identified and remains at large as investigators continue working the case.
