FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — A 31-year-old woman was at the North Broward Bureau detention center in Pompano Beach on Wednesday evening, facing charges for a crime spree caught on videos, according to inmate and court records.
At about 4:40 a.m. on Sunday, Julie Lafleur damaged 10 parked cars, and she stole a woman’s handbag in the area of North Federal Highway and Northeast Third Street in downtown Fort Lauderdale, according to a police officer’s report.
“I have worked downtown for 10 years, and you are going to see some crazy stuff going down,” Kat Leitner said. “But, that is probably one of the more brazen.”…
