The Broward Sheriff’s Office offers video visitation so families can stay connected with loved ones in custody without waiting in long lines. Visits can be done at the Video Visitation Center (3700 W. Oakland Park Blvd., Lauderdale Lakes) or remotely from a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a webcam.
Visitors must complete a one-time registration before scheduling. Appointments can be made, changed, or canceled 1–7 days in advance, and account approval may take up to 48 hours. Each inmate is allowed two one-hour visits per week. Video visitation runs daily from 7:45 a.m. to 9:45 p.m.…
