Living somewhere rural with no neighbors around can be a great way to reconnect with nature, but having friendly neighbors nearby can also be a great pick-me-up. After all, a genuine wave and smile can turn someone’s entire morning around! It doesn’t take a grand gesture to be a thoughtful neighbor, whether you’re a human or an animal.
On March 27, Boca Raton resident @thelaragould witnessed an unexpected moment between two neighbors when an armadillo sauntered by the neighborhood cat. Lara didn’t know what to expect, but she was pleasantly surprised by the animals’ neighborly encounter. The armadillo didn’t look twice at their furry friend, but the cat didn’t know what to think!
