An investigation is underway in Miami Gardens after police said a woman’s body was found in a lake on March 26.
According to information provided by the Miami Gardens Police Department, the body of 55-year-old Geneva Bennett Prevatt was found in the lake in the area of 1005 Northwest 208th Terrace.
Bennett’s cause of death is still under investigation, but an autopsy that was performed by the Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled her death a homicide.
