1 in custody after gun pulled on security guard at RaceTrac in Pembroke Park, cops say

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. — A 21-year-old man was arrested after he pulled out a gun during a verbal altercation with a security guard early Friday at a RaceTrac in Pembroke Park, authorities confirmed.

According to Pembroke Park police, officers were called around 5:10 a.m. to the RaceTrac at 3031 W. Hallandale Beach Blvd. after a security guard reported an altercation with the man, who allegedly made threats before pulling out a gun from a small black bag.

Police said a be-on-the-lookout alert was then issued, and within about five minutes, Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies located the suspect’s vehicle at the Wawa at 3199 W. Hallandale Beach Blvd…
