A Plantation carjacking suspect was taken into custody after fleeing from officers and crashing in Fort Lauderdale on Friday morning, authorities said.
The carjacking happened around 7 a.m. when the victim said an ex-boyfriend had battered her and forcibly stolen her car in the 1100 block of N. University Drive, Plantation Police officials said.
