Fort Lauderdale traffic: Tortuga Music Festival road closures

The Tortuga Music Festival, three straight days of performances by “country, rock and roots” artists, is likely to cause traffic delays in parts of Fort Lauderdale this weekend.

The festival will last from April 10 to April 12, restricting public access to a portion of Fort Lauderdale Beach that’s designated exclusively for the event, according to a traffic advisory posted by the city of Fort Lauderdale on April 7.

The festival’s website lists its exact address as 1100 Seabreeze Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale. There is no designated event parking, reads the advisory, and anyone attending is encouraged to either use the city’s Water Taxi service or a rideshare to get to and from the festival…
