A 30-year-old Boca Raton man has been identified by police as the suspect in the alleged theft of a car left running in the parking lot of a Boynton Beach convenience store, leading to his arrest Wednesday.
Michael Rocky Uwanawich, of Boca Raton, is accused of grand theft of a motor vehicle, according to a probable cause affidavit filed by the Boynton Beach Police Department. The document alleges he drove away in a 2012 Hyundai Sonata from the lot of the BBMT Discount Beverage store on Nov. 16, 2025, and is also a person of interest in a similar vehicle theft in the same town…
