Wanted federal fugitive who fled twice before Hialeah take down facing new charge, records show

A wanted federal fugitive who was arrested after trying to flee from law enforcement twice before he was taken down in Hialeah is facing a new charge, records showed.

Yam Brandy Perera Nuñez, 41, is facing aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after previously being charged with aggravated fleeing and eluding, aggravated assault, aggravated battery, resisting with violence and grand theft.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Perera Nuñez was taken into custody on Thursday after he was found at a Walgreens near West 68th Street and 12th Avenue in Hialeah…
