PORT CHARLOTTE — A U.S. Marine Corps recruiter from Lakeland is facing felony battery charges in Charlotte County after attacking a family member while staying at the Sunseeker Resort in Charlotte Harbor, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Marlo Miguel Orozco, 29, of the 300 block of Wire Road, Lakeland, is charged with battery by strangulation, a third-degree felony, according to court documents.
