Charlotte County man arrested after selling cocaine, pills to undercover deputies

SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – A 53-year-old man was arrested after undercover deputies said they bought cocaine and more than 500 pills from him during a narcotics investigation.

The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office said its Narcotics Unit received multiple tips that Christopher Michael Scalisi was selling drugs throughout the county. Detectives opened an investigation, identified Scalisi and bought drugs directly from him several times in May, according to the agency.

By the end of the investigation, detectives said they had purchased 7.8 grams of cocaine, 10 Xanax/Alprazolam pills and 563 amphetamine pills…
