PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. (WFLA) — A 53-year-old man from Port Charlotte is facing numerous felony drug charges after the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office said he sold over 500 pills to undercover detectives.

The sheriff’s office began investigating Christopher Scalisi after receiving multiple tips accusing him of selling illegal narcotics across the county.
Throughout May, Scalisi met with the detectives to sell them drugs, including cocaine, Xanax/Alprazolam and amphetamines, CCSO said.
One of the undercover meetings occured on May 27, when an undercover detective purchased 100 30mg amphetamine pills from Scalisi, an arrest report said.

Most recently, on June 2, he met with the undercover detective and sold him 463 30 mg amphetamine pills. Later that day, he was arrested and booked into the Charlotte County Jail.
