Florida tosses ethics complaint against Lee County undersheriff

The Florida Commission on Ethics dismissed an ethics complaint against Lee County Undersheriff John Holloway, ruling that the allegations lacked legal sufficiency to initiate a formal investigation.

The commission found that the claims against Holloway relied on statements the complainant, Bonita Springs jeweler Ken Romano, allegedly heard from another individual rather than witnessing personally.
