CAPE CORAL, Fla. —
The suspects accused of breaking into a Cape Coral jewelry store and holding the manager at gunpoint in February have been charged in a superseding indictment, according to the Department of Justice.
According to court documents, the defendants, Ivel Sanchez Rivera, Osmani Barrios Carrera, Yunior Lopez Delgado and Alberto Perez Elias, were charged with the following:
- Conspiracy to interfere with commerce by robbery
- Interference with commerce by robbery
- Use, carry and brandish a firearm during a crime of violence
Court documents say that back in January, the suspects entered the store, Tio Jewelers, through the wall of a vacant business while the store was closed. The manager of the store was reportedly held at gunpoint…
