Children in trauma can be in circumstances nearly impossible for adults to comprehend let alone for children to communicate. So, a coalition of experts and a community of care is necessary to help save them. Recently that’s exactly what happened for 22 children in Southwest Florida. The National Child Protection Task Force recently completed this confidential, multi-agency Missing Child Rescue Operation locating endangered missing youth across Lee, Collier and Hendry counties in late May with the involvement of dozens of agencies and local individuals.
