Impact Day: Storms may get in the way of July 4th plans

Showers and thunderstorms may get in the way of outdoor plans this Fourth of July. For that reason, Saturday is a Gulf Coast Weather Impact Day. Rain will develop along the coastline by late morning and into the early afternoon hours. As we move later on into the day, the rain will shift off to the east and move inland.
